A few days ago, a group of families from the nearby parish came to spend the day helping repaint the pruned olive trees.

Their work was deeply appreciated by the monks. This symbolic gesture marks the arrival of the first volunteers at Latroun Abbey, joining the effort to restore the olive grove.

Under the late-year sun and heat, everyone gave their time to show — through this unique and heartfelt gesture — the support that the local community offers to Latroun Abbey.

A warm thank you to all of them.
